Privacy policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

This policy explains what VisaMate collects, where it is stored, who it is shared with and how to delete it. VisaMate is operated by Wondertabs Pte. Ltd.. It covers the VisaMate website and the VisaMate iOS app, which shows the same service.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address and password. Passwords are stored hashed by our sign-in provider, Supabase. We never see them.
  • Case details you enter: applicant and sponsor names, date of birth, country of birth, current visa, citizenship status, relationship type and key dates, how you met, visa pathway and lodgement plans.
  • Evidence you upload: photos, bills, bank statements and other documents, with the titles, captions and categories you give them.
  • Statements: your answers to the statement questions and the declaration drafts made from them.
  • Communication summary: message and call counts and date ranges for each platform. If you import a WhatsApp chat export, it is read on your device and only these counts are saved. The chat itself is never uploaded.
  • Witness details:each witness's name, email address, relationship to you, how long they have known you, their questionnaire answers and their Form 888 draft. Witnesses enter their answers through a private link you share with them.
  • AI usage records: which AI feature you used, the model, and the amount of text processed. We use these to apply a daily limit.

We don't use advertising, third-party analytics or tracking. The only cookies we set keep you signed in.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage) in Sydney, Australia. It is encrypted in transit and at rest. The service is hosted on Vercel.

AI features and third-party AI providers

VisaMate uses third-party AI models to draft statements, witness Form 888 drafts and your communication summary, to suggest categories for files you upload, and to recommend evidence. When you use these features, the information needed for that task is sent to one of these providers:

  • Anthropic
  • Google
  • Groq
  • OpenRouter, which passes the request to the provider of the model it routes to

This can include your and your partner's names, relationship dates and how you met, your country of birth, your statement answers, your witnesses' names and answers, your communication counts, and the titles and file names of your evidence. The evidence files themselves are not sent to AI providers. If one provider is unavailable, the request is retried with another on this list.

These providers are based outside Australia, mainly in the United States. They process the data under their own terms. Depending on the plan used, they may keep it for a limited time, and free plans may use it to improve their services.

We ask for your permission before your first AI request. If you decline, nothing is sent and the AI features stay off.

Who else can see your data

  • Your witnesses:anyone with a witness link can see your and your partner's names and that witness's own answers. Only share a link with the person it is for. Deleting a witness disables their link.
  • Service providers: Supabase, Vercel and the AI providers above, only to run VisaMate.
  • When required by law: we may disclose information if the law requires it.

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your files, case data and sign-in are deleted straight away. Copies in our providers' backups are removed within 30 days. AI providers keep data according to their own terms, described above.

Deleting your account

Sign in and go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your uploaded files, case details, statements, witness details and your sign-in. If you can't sign in, email hello@wondertabs.com and we will delete it for you.

Your choices

You can view and correct your case details in Settings, and remove individual evidence items, witnesses and drafts at any time. To ask for a copy of your data or ask a privacy question, email hello@wondertabs.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

VisaMate is intended for adults preparing their own partner visa application.

Changes

If our practices change we will update this page and the date at the top.
